FOUR teenagers have been arrested after a devastating blaze ripped through the abandoned Haslemere Prep School building on Hill Road on Monday evening.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after the large fire at the abandoned building.

At 5.44pm on Monday police were called to assist Surrey Fire and Rescue at the scene of the fire.

The school has been disused for some years. No-one was inside the property at the time of the fire and no-one was injured.

Multiple fire engines attended the scene.

A 14-year-old girl, two 14-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of arson.
