HASLEWEY community centre was packed for a fundraising Burns Night dinner.
Haslemere mayor John Robini joined more than 80 guests, who celebrated with a traditional three-course dinner served up by Haslewey’s talented chefs, together with a wee dram of whisky to toast the haggis.
Guests also enjoyed the strains of a classic piper, a solo performance of Life is Like a Red, Red Rose by Vicki Gavin of The Haslemere Players, oodles of odes and a Highland ceilidh band to dance the night away.
Money raised will be used to fund activities for all ages and the expansion of Haslewey’s community meals service.
