HELP illuminate Haslemere Museum garden over the festive period with eco-lanterns powered by solar energy and join a town procession.
Pioneering initiative Haslemere Festive Lanterns is masterminding the project to upcycle single-use plastic waste.
Workshops will be held at the museum from 10am to midday and 1pm to 3pm on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.
Most plastic film and bags are not currently recycled, although most of it can be.
Clear and coloured plastic film can be fused together to create a textured cover for lanterns.
This is a not-for-profit project run by Jellyworks Organisation in partnership with Haslemere Museum and Love Haslemere Hate Waste with funding support from The Shottermill Great War Memorial Trust.
