HASLEMERE’S Hunter Centre has been boosted by £3,000, thanks to town U3A cooks The Gourmet Geezers.

Head chef Ken Griffiths, who is pictured presenting centre chairman Anne Downing with the cheque, said: “Raising money for the Hunter Centre, which supports those living with dementia in Haslemere and the surrounding areas is so worthwhile.

“The cheque was the profit from our Gourmet Geezers Dinner, plus sales of our Gourmet Geezers Cookbook.”
