THE Health and Safety Executive has been asked to investigate after a builder injured by a piece of plant machinery was taken to hospital by air ambulance, after an accident last Friday afternoon.
The Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance was called to a business address in Holdfast Lane, in Haslemere, at around 4pm and landed in a nearby field.
The man, who had an injury to his neck was transferred to St George’s Hospital in Tooting. His injuries were not reported to be serious or life threatening, according to a spokesman for the air ambulance service.
