A CHIDDINGFOLD hotel has ensured that budding village footballers are kitted out in style.

The Crown Inn is sponsoring the village's under-eights team and has bought the squad a new kit.

Hotel owner Dan Hall said: "The Crown Inn prides itself on supporting the community in many ways.

"It is especially rewarding to sponsor Chiddingfold Youth Football Club's under-eight squad.

"The team consists of such a positive group of children who all display the great qualities of the village.

"We look forward to following their progress and development, and wouldn't be surprised if some of them turn out to be future Beckhams or Rooneys."
