A RECORD number of businesses donated prizes for a raffle which raised £333 for The Hunter Centre in Haslemere.

Grayshott-based In Home Care company was overwhelmed to receive a grand total of 87 donated prizes from cafes and shops, including a tranquillity day for two at Grayshott Spa.

Administrator Caroline Barnes said: “We do a lot of fundraising for charities, including the Alzheimer’s Society, and we wanted to do something to help a local charity that supports those with dementia.

“We were thrilled to receive so many prizes and would like to thank everyone in Grayshott and Haslemere for their donations.”
