THE return from near extinction of the Bermuda petrel is the subject of an illustrated talk by Andrew Cleave at Haslemere Museum, in the High Street, on Saturday, November 12.
Entitled ‘Back from the Brink’, the Haslemere Natural History Society talk starts at 2.15pm and also features the colourful wildlife of Bermuda, including more endemic birds, rare migrants, butterflies, reptiles, marine life and exotic flora.
Non-members are invited to donate £3 and the talk is one of a series of club events held at the museum over the winter months.
