A Mercedes car was seized and its driver summonsed to court after being pulled over by police in Haslemere on April 10.
A Surrey Police casualty reduction officer stopped the black Mercedes C220 as it was travelling at 40mph in a 30mph limit through the town.
It was then found the driver’s Indian licence entitlements had expired.
They had applied for a provisional licence but had no supervisor or L plates on the vehicle.
