GRAYSHOTT Folk Club latest guests will be “cheeky Essex Boys” Mawkin and solo singer/songwriter/guitarist Harry Pane, from London, when they appear at Grayshott Village Hall, on Friday, June 10, from 7.30pm.

Last month Mawkin finished a long, UK-wide tour as support for Bellowhead, as Bellowhead bid “farewell” to the folk world. Des O’Byrne, Grayshott Folk Club organiser, said: “I have heard from several people who saw Mawkin play on that tour, that Mawkin were brilliant and I have had ticket enquiries from all over the place.

“This will be a night for those of you who like your folk a little livelier.” Tickets cost £14 adults and £7 (U16s).
