Women are invited to learn the art of the tease in a burlesque workshop run by the Hundred Watt Club at The Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre in Bordon on May 13 at 4pm.

They can boost their body confidence in a fun and relaxed environment while exploring the skills and shapes of the art of the tease.

This relaxed and playful workshop focuses on building and expressing their confidence using classic techniques from the wonderful world of burlesque such as the shimmy, the sashay and, of course, the bump ’n’ grind. Giggles are guaranteed.

This workshop will be run by one of the Hundred Watt Club’s dazzling showgirls, who will share a wealth of burlesque industry experience and stage skills, and will be happy to answer questions.

Participants should wear clothes in which they can move comfortably that can be as glamorous or relaxed as they like.

Hot pants and heels are most welcome but leggings and a T-shirt are also fine.

Those taking part should not worry as there will be no nudity involved.

This class is suitable for absolute beginners and experienced ecdysiasts alike, but it is for adults only.
