During its centenary year in 2021, Liphook Women’s Institute raised money for an ‘achievement’ cup to be donated to Bohunt School.

The Liphook WI Centenary Cup was presented to school head Neil Strowger (far left) and head of sixth form Clare Hodgson (far right) by Liphook WI president Judy Evans and secretary Muriel Bullingham (centre left and right).

Women’s Institute members celebrated the 100th anniversary on April 21, 2021.

An introductory meeting in Liphook Village Hall on April 20, 1921, was attended by around 200 local women.

Meetings were then held in the gardens of local houses until the church hall opened in 1922.
