SURREY Police are appealing for help in tracing the movements of a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up which was involved in a collision with a pedestrian in near Haslemere.
The incident happened in Critchmere Lane, Shottermill, at 9pm on Thursday. The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to St George’s Hospital, Tooting, where he is in a serious but stable condition.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle in the area before or after the incident, or who witnessed the collision itself.

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, driving without due care and attention, providing a positive breath test, driving while unfit through drink or drugs. He is currently in custody.
