A MAN has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault in Wey Hill, Haslemere.

St Christopher’s Green was cordoned off, while officers conducted a forensic search after the woman was attacked on the night of Saturday, August 27, and the early hours of Sunday morning.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: “The man is currently in custody while enquiries are ongoing.”
