HASLEMERE Town Council has organised two open meetings for members of the public this month for them to meet the mayor and councillors and find out about what’s happening in their areas.

The first ‘Meet The Mayor and Councillors’ meeting will be for Shottermill and Critchmere Residents this Saturday, October 1, at Haslewey at 5pm.

Topics will include: ‘Find out about new council projects’, ‘Talk to ward councillors’, “Tell us your concerns”, “Tell us of projects you would like to see happen”, “Updates on the play park and Christmas carols” and “Have your say”.

The second meeting will be for the Hindhead ward next Tuesday, October 4, at Hindhead Royal British Legion at 7pm with discussion on ‘Save our village’,’Keep our shops’ and ‘Improve our parking’.
