A TRIP down memory lane was enjoyed by former Grayswood Primary School pupil Brian Walker when he met current head boy Stanley (pictured) at a special opening event.

Grayswood Citizenship Club pupils hosted a community cream tea for parents, grandparents and villagers in a partnership between the after school club and the PTA.

The children led a tour and exchanged photos and stories of school experiences with their guests over cups of tea and scones baked by their parents. The event raised £138 towards school improvements chosen by the club.

Headteacher Hannah Cole said pupils “have really done themselves and the school proud”.
