HASLEMERE Fire Station watch commander Matt Oakley cautioned drivers to take extra care in wet conditions, following a collision on the A3, at around 4.30pm, last Wednesday.
Surrey Police and firefighters attended the incident, when a Mini Cooper aquaplaned into the embankment fence, almost going through it, then ricocheted across the dual carriageway.
The crash, which occurred on the northbound carriageway near the Hindhead tunnel, caused delays for several hours.
“Another road traffic collision in wet weather,” Mr Oakley said. “Fortunately there were only minor injuries again, we understand. Please remember to drive to the conditions.”
