VISITORS to Grayshott Post Office were greeted by Royal Mail royalty as Postman Pat and his cat Jess dropped in for Children in Need.

Some £336.92 was raised towards the national charity appeal, as Pat (post office assistant Dawn Stickland) and Jess (postmistress Michelle Reidy) served customers for two days at the end of last week.

It was part of a fun few days of fundraising for the national charity which was eagerly taken on board by cpupils in and around Haslemere.
