CONCERN is mounting that Waverley Borough Council will have to build more than 8450 new homes by 2031 to meet Government housing targets.
It has emerged that Guildford Borough Council is set to lower its housing figure and the knock-on effect for Waverley could be that it will have to accommodate more than 500 new homes a year, rather than the upper limit of 450 previously estimated.
