A MOVING tribute to residents from Haslemere and surrounding villages, who gave their lives fighting for their country in the First World War, was unveiled in Wey Hill on Armistice Day.

Students from Woolmer Hill School in Haslemere, Rodborough Technology College in Milford and Bohunt School in Liphook joined forces with the museum's Haslemere Young People's exhibition team to paint 30 commemorative panels, which form a giant Great War memorial mural, mounted along 130 feet of the roadside hoardings near the the railway bridge.
