THE National Trust has completed a clear-up at Shottermill Ponds in Haslemere following an oil spill.

An exact cause of the spill, which has covered the ponds in a greasy film of oil for the last two weeks, is yet to be discovered – but the trust says it's confident the contamination has been cleared.
