PROOF that Britian has gone cycling mad since the London Olympics two years ago was further confirmed as scores of spectators lined the roads around Haslemere and Hindhead for the Friends Life Tour of Britain on Saturday. British heroes from 2012 including Sir Bradley Wiggins were the big draw as the seventh of eight stages played out in south-west Surrey. It concluded in central London on Sunday, with a split stage including an 8.8km individual time trial before the traditional 10-lap circuit race.
