A PETITION with 1,500 signatures has been sent to Waverley Borough Council calling for it to reject plans to develop Undershaw, the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
And Haslemere Town Council has agreed to oppose development, throwing its weight behind the objectors appealing for the Grade II Listed house to be saved.
