OUTLINE plans have been submitted to waverley planners to demolish Wheeler Street Nurseries in Witley and build 20 new homes.

The proposal includes six affordable homes with 30 per cent of the site to be retained for a wholesale horticultural nursery. The developers said the site could deliver much-needed open market and affordable housing in a “sustainable location” within the next five years.
