There were adventures for young children when a toddler play area at Hogmoor Inclosure was officially opened on March 21.
It features a climbing net to develop co-ordination and core strength, a platformed mini house and slide for imaginative play, two rocking horses to ride, a see-saw for playing with friends, a ground level play house for sharing and twin toddler swings.
Families working with Home-Start Hampshire took part in a teddy bears’ picnic activity – hunting for Ken the Deadwater Valley Trust bear’s missing picnic items! There was also a ribbon cutting, refreshments and lots of play.
