MORE than 300 members of the public visited the former King Edward VII Hospital over the weekend, as developers unveiled proposals to restore the estate's historic buildings, gardens and landscape.
The restoration project, which is estimated to cost in the region of £70m, would be funded by the creation of 350 to 400 homes in the form of new development and conversion of the estate's current buildings.
