The Queen’s state funeral will be screened in churches, pubs and village halls across Haslemere and the surrounding area on Monday.

A bank holiday for the funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on September 19 has been declared by King Charles III.

Many businesses, public buildings including leisure centres and council services will be closed to mark the proceedings.

But a number of venues across the area have confirmed they will open their doors for community streamings of the BBC live coverage of the Queen’s funeral.

These will allow people to show their respects to the Queen in the company of others, with many places offering free tea and coffee.

The Herald has compiled a list of all the places sharing coverage of the funeral, plus any events on the eve of the funeral, in the Haslemere area below.
