BARROW Hills School, in Witley, has announced it will offer nursery provision for children aged two and above, from January.
The on-site nursery will initially offer a maximum of 12 places for children during the school’s academic year. There will also be local employment opportunities as additional staff members will be appointed.
A school spokesman said there will be care offered from 8am to 6pm “to fit with the demands of modern working life”.
The nursery will use existing floor space within the early years department.
The spokesman said: “The decision to provide a nursery facility at the school provides parents with access to a seamless education for their child from the age of two to 13 years – ensuring the consistency and continuity that helps to create a stable and secure learning environment.
The aim is to provide an easy transition for children and for parents; it is anticipated that the availability of care for younger children will be especially beneficial for families with an older sibling already in attendance at Barrow Hills,”
