MORE than 100 Haslemere care home residents enjoyed a Christmas concert and tea party at The Royal School.

Lower sixth pupils planned the festive event and were on hand to welcome their guests, many of whom had a connection with the school as former parents or neighbours.

Guests were treated to performances of dance, music and singing by pupils from years seven to 11 and also a magic act.

Everyone enjoyed singing Christmas carols, raising the roof with their rendition of Jingle Bell Rock, and guests were presented with a festive gift to take away.
