GRAYSHOTT vicar Reverend Jeremy Haswell and musicians struck a jazz vibe when the village celebrated national big lunch day.

Mounted by Grayshott’s Square Events Group, this year’s community cook-up had an Asian theme and a raffle in aid of UNICEF Syrian Children aid helped to raise £500 at The Ghurkha Durbar buffet.

Big Lunch in Haslemere saw newly-founded Haslemere Kitchen serve up its first community lunch at Haslemere Methodist Church, thanks to Jude Kracmar, who secured food donations of food and gathered volunteers.
