DOUBTS have arisen over the future of the Portsmouth to London rail line, after a Government report revealed the current franchise owner, Stagecoach South West

Trains (SWT), is in "financial distress".

A report, published on Monday by the Commons' Transport Committee, revealed that Stagecoach SWT is currently involved in a dispute with the Government over when it becomes eligible for revenue support.
