EVERY little helped when Haslemere Tesco staff members got stuck in to help raise an impressive £2,424 for Cancer Research UK.

The group of 14 helped swell the total raised by staff taking part in The Pretty Muddy Race for Life at Stoke Park in Guildford.

Supermarket chain community fundraiser Anita Cumber said: “Tesco sponsors the event all over the country in aid of Cancer Research UK.

“Haslemere raised £2,424 from fundraising events in the store, whereby customers and colleagues donated with sponsorship from family and friends.”
