HASLEMERE Town Council was due to consider a new planning application for Undershaw, the historic home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle at its planning committee meeting yesterday (Thursday).
The town council has no planning powers but acts as an adviser to the borough council.
The new application, registered with Waverley Borough Council on June 7, is not from the owner of the building but seeks to change the use from an hotel and restaurant to single dwelling once more.
