RECORD-breaking crowds, fantastic weather and thousands of pounds to help maintain its village hall is the success story of this year's Brook Fete.

Held on the recreation ground on Bank Holiday Monday people flocked to the event so much so that it was forced to open half-an-hour earlier than planned.
