SEVEN runners from Bordon running group Runnyhoneys were among 24,000 people from more than 100 countries who took part in the Virtual London Marathon.

Family members, friends and some fellow runners accompanied them for part of the 26.2-mile route around Hogmoor Inclosure, Bordon and Lindford.

The seven raised nearly £2,000 for the Bushy Leaze Children and Families Centre in Alton, the Alzheimer’s Society and the Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust.

The trust allowed Runnyhoneys to use The Beehive as a base for both the runners and their supporters.
