A WOODLAND trim trail funded by The National Lottery Community Fund is keeping Shottermill Junior School pupils on their toes.
Thanks to the award of £10,000, the school now has eight new pieces of equipment, including a rope tunnel, a Tarzan ring beam, a log snake weaver and a tightrope crossing.
Louise Gallagher, school business manager, said: “We were delighted to receive £10,000 to help fund our woodland development project.
“The school council chose a new trail to give pupils more things to play on. They absolutely love the new equipment.”
The equipment will also be used by holiday and church groups during the school breaks.
