Aldershot & Farnham Hockey Club’s ladies’ first team earned an impressive 4-1 win at home to Maidstone.

Maidstone won a short corner against the run of play, and a deflection saw the away team take the lead.

The equaliser arrived when Sophie Edwards’ cutback found Charlotte Clive, who slotted home. The second goal soon followed when Edwards put away a rebound.

Sydney Field’s quick reverse stick shot found the bottom right corner to make it 3-1.

Tammy Cherry scored the final goal to make it 4-1.
