ALDERSHOT Town have extended the loans of Adam McDonnell and George Fowler from Ipswich until Tuesday, January 2.
Both have featured prominently during Aldershot’s advance up the National League table.
Midfielder McDonnell has made 17 appearances and scored four goals since joining in August, while Fowler has played 12 games and impressed in central defence.
Both will now be available for a further seven matches, up to and including the New Year’s Day fixture against Woking at Kingfield.
• Shaun Okojie has joined National League South side Eastbourne Borough on loan until January 1. The tall striker recently returned from a spell in the same division with Wealdstone, and now joins goalkeeper Mark Smith at Priory Lane.
Eastbourne, who also include former Shots players Charlie Harris, Ian Simpemba and Jamie Taylor in their squad, are currently 15th in the National League South table. Okojie is available for their next six matches.
• Aldershot Academy graduates Luca Wrightman and Eoin Kirwan have joined Bostick League South Division team Whyteleafe on loan until December 29.
The pair, who have both been involved in first-team squads this season, will be available for five games. Whyteleafe are currently tenth in the table.
Wrightman, 18, who has made two first-team appearances, previously had a loan spell at Worthing United, while Kirwan, 17, spent some of last season with Frimley Green.
• East Thurrock United have confirmed ticket prices for the FA Trophy first-round match against Aldershot on Saturday, December 16 (ko 3pm).
Admission is priced at £12 for adults, £6 for concessions and £3 for under-16s.
The FutureFuel Stadium is on Rookery Hill in Corringham, near Stanford-le-Hope, postcode SS17 9LB. Parking at the stadium is limited. The nearest railway station is Stanford-le-Hope, on the Fenchurch Street to Southend line.
Any replay will be at Aldershot on Monday, December 18 (ko 7.45pm). Admission would be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (O65 and ages 5-16).
East Thurrock, who knocked Shots out of the competition last season, are ninth in the National League South.
• Tickets for Aldershot’s Boxing Day and New Year’s Day derby games against Woking are now on sale at the EBB Stadium ticket office. The matches are not all-ticket, but advance purchase is recommended, to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.
