ALDERSHOT Town’s FA Cup first-round home tie against Bradford City this Sunday will be broadcast live around the world.
Up to 188 countries, from South America to Australasia and the Far East, will receive live coverage from the EBB Stadium as part of the Football Association’s global television deal.
Audiences across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean and Indian subcontinent, plus China, Japan, Russia and the USA, will all have the chance to see the Shots host The Bantams in the world’s oldest cup competition.
Back at Aldershot, regular match-day prices will apply for all supporters. Season-ticket holders will be able to take their normal seat on presentation of their booklet to a steward on the day.
Bradford have been allocated 1,470 tickets in the East and South Stands.
The match is one of eight to kick-off at 2pm and will feature in a special interactive Final Score programme on BBC One, as well as a 90-minute highlights show the same day, at 6.30pm.
If required, a replay will be at The Coral Windows Stadium on Tuesday, November 17.
Aldershot’s National League home game against Lincoln City will now be played on Wednesday, November 11 (ko 7.45pm).
The Shots will commemorate Armistice Day at both fixtures. Details to follow.
Matt Barnes-Homer has joined Kidderminster Harriers on a 28-day loan. The striker has made 15 appearances for Aldershot this season, including seven starts, since joining from Macclesfield in June.
Barnes-Homer previously spent two-and-a-half seasons at Aggborough, scoring 40 goals in 119 games for Harriers between 2007 and 2009.
He will not be eligible to face the Shots on Saturday, November 14.
