NOT being able to get out on the water for competitive racing hasn’t stopped Frensham Pond Sailability sailors...

They have been taking part in virtual races organised by the Hansa Class UK.

The competition is only three weeks into a ten-week programme, but already the Sailability sailors are showing their winning ability.

Paul Phillips is leading the series, with Mike Everitt running fourth. Spot prizes were awarded at the end of week three, with Paul Phillips getting a prize for his exceptional performance in week two, Peter Etherton getting his opening first place in the same week, Kate Whyatt having the best-decorated boat, and Sailability chairman Ivor Barrett getting a special prize for multitasking, by playing the game, hosting a Zoom meeting, drinking a cup of coffee and answering a telephone call all at the same time.
