THE course looked at its finest as Cowdray Park Seniors hosted Littlehampton.

The visitors were hoping to benefit from the local knowledge of two former Cowdray members, but the home side ran out convincing 6-2 winners.

The match was played in a great spirit and Littlehampton will look forward to the return fixture in July.

Cowdray Ladies

WITH the temperatures rising, Cowdray Park Ladies teed off to compete for the Grannies Trophy.

The winner with 38 points was in-form Jo Fife. Runner-up was Caroline Haynes with 36 points and Sue Brown came third on 35.

The runaway winner of the non-Grannies Stableford held the same day was new member Vicky Lush with a superb 47 points. Catherine Staples finished second with 38 points, on count-back from third-placed Gaynor Dudman.
