WORLDHAM Golf Club has raised £6,500 for its captains’ charities over the past 12 months.

The cash will be split between Medstead-based Broadlands Riding for the Disabled and Parkinson’s UK.

The club also raised money for the likes of Royal British Legion, Cancer Research and Age Concern during the year.

The club’s incoming captains also held their traditional drive-in – with a junior captain joining the ranks for the first time in several years in the guise of Max Neville. He joined new captains Duncan Kenny (seniors), Barbara Hogg (ladies) and Nick Kellie (club).
