PETERSFIELD Golf Club Seniors’ November Medal (Nov 3) was a particularly close competition, with 52 members taking part.

The winner was David Dunglinson with a net 63, just one shot better than runner-up David Budd (64). Steve Cann came third with a net 66.

Sixty seniors competed in last Thursday’s Texas Scramble, playing in teams of four. Results: 1st, Phil Criddle, David Dunglinson, Chris May, Bob Musker (net 59); 2nd, Alan Austin, John Curgenven, Jan Hanus, Derek Mustchin (60); 3rd, Derek Harrison, Peter Marchant, Marshall Smith, Peter Thayer (62).

Petersfield Seniors played their final match of the year on November 7, competing against Test Valley Seniors in the first of what is intended to become a regular annual fixture. Test Valley won 41/2-21/2.
