WITH 83 entries in the six scheduled races, competitive racing looks assured for the Hampshire Hunt Point-to-Point at Hackwood Park, near Basingstoke, this Sunday.

Sponsored by NFU Mutual Basingstoke, this first of two race meetings at Hackwood this year promises to be the biggest and best yet, with many top-quality runners and riders on show.

The Ladies Open, for which the first two qualify for the Skinners Final at Stratford, has drawn 16 entries, the largest of the day. The main races start at 1pm.
