THIS Sunday saw hundreds of runners line up at the start of the 10th Farnham Pilgrim marathon – and plenty more took on the half marathon.

Among them was Philip Scrase, chairman of Alton Runners and no stranger to the challenge of running a marathon. In fact, Philip chose the Pilgrim as his 100th marathon and was joined by more than 20 other Alton Runners to celebrate his special day.
