FARNHAM Rugby Club welcomed England World Cup winner Mike Tindall to its Sportsman’s Lunch last Friday afternoon (April 22).

The club’s premier social event and fundraiser attracted 400 guests after two years of Covid-19 cancellations.

Mike was interviewed by club president and former Harlequin Geoff Bond.

Mike – who is married to the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall – gave an insight into life among the Royal family and regaled the audience with anecdotes from his rugby career – including his role in England’s World Cup-winning campaign in 2003.
