FARNHAM Roller Hockey Club Under-11s achieved some excellent results in a tournament at Herne Bay as the weather relented.
Their first game against Herne Bay United was evenly-matched and tense, and it ended 6-6, with Seb Alexander impressing in Farnham’s goal.
The match against Maidstone II began with two excellent goals for Farnham by Harry Ross. Fine team-work kept the goals coming and all the players got on the scoresheet. Lexie Gosnell, who normally plays defence, scored her first goal for the side with a high slap as Farnham romped to a 13-0 victory.
The final game was against Herne Bay II and Farnham again gained the upper hand. Their strong all-round play earned another big win, 11-0.
