THERE is major disruption on South Western Railways services into London Waterloo this morning after a person was hit by a train between Woking and Surbiton.
All lines running through these stations are currently blocked as the emergency services deal with the incident, with many services delayed, cancelled or revised as a result.
Disruption is expected until 10am on Tuesday, April 2.
A spokesman for South Western Railway said: "We have received reports that a person has been struck by a train between Surbiton and Woking.
"Our response teams are working with the emergency services to assist with the incident.
"In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area."
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
