SURREY air ambulance was called to the scene of a “serious” two-car collision just before 1pm today (Feb 21) in Bell Road in Haslemere.

The Bell Road junction with the A286 and A287 remained shut with traffic diversions in operation while Surrey Police conducted investigations.

Haslemere fire fighters attended the scene with Midhurst fire fighters and motorists were still being advised to avoid the area by Surrey Police at 4pm.
