Worldhams and Hartley Mauditt won a host of prizes at the Hampshire Association of Local Councils Village of the Year Awards 2023.

Worldham parish councillor Tess Godbert won the Inspirational Individual award, Worldham was runner-up in the Best Small Village and Excellence in Community Engagement categories, and The Three Horseshoes in East Worldham won the Pub as a Hub section. 

Parish council chair Cllr Robin Twining told residents: “Your kindness and love of the parish shone through to the judges and we thank you for being such a wonderful community to belong to.”
